Environmental Research Internship Center for Youth Logo

The Environmental Research Internship Center for Youth (ERICY) was established with the goal of advancing STEM education among K–12 students by fostering early engagement in environmental engineering and scientific exploration. The primary mission of ERICY is to provide hands-on learning experiences through research-based internships and summer camps that encourage curiosity, innovation, and problem-solving.

ERICY is committed to cultivating a new generation of thinkers and leaders prepared to address environmental challenges with critical insight and scientific integrity. Through its programs, students gain exposure to experimental design, data collection, analysis, and the development of practical, evidence-based solutions. These experiences help build a solid foundation in STEM that will support students throughout their academic and professional journeys.

ERICY collaborates with educators, environmental professionals, community organizations, and academic institutions to ensure that its curriculum and training opportunities are impactful, accessible, and aligned with current and emerging issues in environmental science and engineering.

As part of its mission, ERICY offers summer camps, workshops, and internship programs that equip students with valuable research experience while inspiring them to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Please contact us for more information on upcoming programs and how to get involved.
